How to visit the BMW Group headquarters.

In 2022 our iconic headquarters in the north of Munich celebrated its 50th anniversary. Designed by the Austrian architect Karl Schwanzer, it is 99.5 metres high, has 22 floors and is a famous Munich landmark. With its four main cylindrical sections, it symbolises not only a four-cylinder BMW engine but also our progressive mindset. It is the home of our technological expertise and drive for innovation. Our desire for progress is also evidenced by our first fully electric BMW: the BMW 1602e, unveiled in 1972 – the year our headquarters was built.
