The team recognized at an early stage the importance of sustainability at the BMW Group. They wanted the customers to experience their own environmental contribution with their BMW product in a great way. With the help of augmented reality features in a connected app they provided individual insight directly to our customers. This allows customer engagement throughout the entire customer journey. After the BMW Accelerator, their idea got transferred into the “Retail Next” project at the retail development department and also into the “Responsible Choice Techworks” project at corporate strategy. As a result, their idea helped implement advanced sustainability features into the BMW Group.
