Thomas Stiede is considered a hydrogen expert at the BMW Group plant in Leipzig. Since 2013, the site has been operating a hydrogen filling station system for logistics vehicles - the first pilot project of its kind in Germany. The fleet now consists of 118 vehicles - thanks in part to Thomas Stiede and his team. His goal: to convert all logistics to CO2-free drives.

"My goal is to convert all logistics, including all logistics vehicles, to CO2-free drives. From forklifts to trucks. The end result is the vision of a CO2-free plant, and one that is economically viable."
